Oil and Gas Family Day

On May 13th, the SPE UMS SC in collaboration with DipEC organized the Oil & Gas Family Day at ODEC, UMS. The event started at 9 am and was expected to last until 5 pm. The event was attended by 84 students and 3 lecturers.

The Oil & Gas Family Day featured a variety of activities for attendees to participate in. One of the activities was Balloon Popping, where a balloon was tied to players' ankles and they attempted to pop out other players' balloons. Another activity was Strike Beach, where teams threw items to knock down bowling pins belonging to other teams. The final activity was Scavenger Hunt, where teams played a game in three checkpoints, and then had to look for hidden items based on a given list around the play area.

Unfortunately, the event had to be ended early due to heavy rain. Despite this, attendees enjoyed the activities and had a good time. Dr. Norfazlianah, the activities advisor, remarked, "I enjoy the moment and this is my first time ever experiencing a family day in the rain."

Overall, the Oil & Gas Family Day was a successful event that provided attendees with an opportunity to have fun and engage in friendly competition. The event was well-organized and the activities were enjoyed by all who attended. Despite the weather conditions, the attendees had a positive experience and were glad to have participated in the event.
